Would you learn to drive in a classic car?
Just a reminder that this machine exists, Hoonigan’s Subaru GL Family Huckster is covered in active aero and spits flames out of one of the wheel arches. In this video you can see it flying up Goodwood’s hill with all of the aforementioned in full effect.

The Morgan Plus Four CX-T is a Morgan like you’ve never seen before, designed explicitly for overland adventure and built by Morgan in partnership with Rally Raid UK, renowned creators of Dakar race vehicles. Just 8 were built and supplied in full overland specification. I really like it, but the price tag is eye-watering.

Want to go racing but don’t know where to start? Buying your own race car probably isn’t the most sensible starting point, but we all make bad decisions here and there and it would make a good story, right? Well if you agree, then head over to Race Cars Direct where you can find anything from Suzuki rally cars through to full-blown Le Mans prototypes.

You know you’re subscribed to a geeky newsletter when you’re being recommended a video about tuning a Metro engine, but hey, that’s where we find ourselves. It’s surprisingly mesmerising, meditative even, seeing someone methodically work their way through the engine, identifying issues and optimisations, fixing them as he goes. I hope you enjoy this grassroots content by Twin-Cam featuring the A-Series engine, he reviews some interesting stuff on his channel and always gives consideration to the narrative, worth checking out.

Note the L plate in front and rear window, did you learn in anything as cool as this 1982 Audi 80? Learning to drive in this would involve quite a lot more than learning to drive…like learning how to best start the car in cold weather, something we can now take for granted. I really can’t find many for sale, but it looks like it’s worth around £4,000, so fair play to the owner - there would have been more boring sensible choices available at that price.
