The first traffic jam I've seen on a canal
Is it a bird duck? Is it a plane boat? No, It’s an Amphicar! In this remarkable spectacle, the biggest collection of Amphicars I’ve ever seen created what looks like a traffic jam on the Amsterdam canals and by the looks of it had a lot of fun while confusing a number of bystanders in the process.

A future legend? Maybe already a legend? There were just over 1,000 examples of the E61 BMW M5 estate produced, that’s 1 for every 19 saloons of the same generation. That might explain why the saloon starts at around £15k while the estate commands double that. There aren’t a lot of estates that can boast a V10, but equally, there aren’t many estate moments that warrant a V10…does a V10 ever need justifying though? This surely has to be one of the most, cultured estate decisions. If you’re tempted, there are a handful available on Auto Trader.

WhistlinDiesel takes it to the Cybertruck in a series of grueling tests to see if it’s as durable as Elon has claimed. In what is solidly Team USA vs. Team USA, the Cybertruck is pitched against the Ford F150 as a benchmark. Without giving too much away, I don’t think this particular Cybertruck will be fetching much on the secondhand market after WhistlinDiesel had finished with it…
Challenge of the week 🕵️
I got married yesterday to my long-suffering (now wife), so with that in mind there’s a wedding-car-based challenge this week. Here it is, you’ve got a budget of £20,000 to find a car that would have you looking suitably cool turning up to the venue, but one your other half would also be happy departing in to head straight off on a honeymoon. Are you risking a drop-top, or going for something a little more traditional? Interested to see what you find!
Seen in the wild đź‘€
It’s not uncommon to see a 911, not even that uncommon to see a classic 911, but the 912 is a slightly lesser spotted beast and to see one in such good condition used to literally pop to the shops is good to see. However precious, it’s being used, as it should be. From what I can see on Car & Classic, it’s probably worth around £60k in this condition, but you could find one for less, especially if you were prepared to do some work to it.
