Citroen to Cut-and-shut - Your weekly dose of automotive nourishment

The silliest modifications you've ever seen.

Social spotlight šŸ“±

This must be one of the dumbest, funniest and most dangerous builds happening at the moment. How many things is this failing at MOT on!? This is not a convertible 3 series, it’s a saloon that’s had the roof hacked off, but that’s not even the start of it. I won’t give everything away but most significantly it’s had a driver’s seat delete, so you drive from the rear seat and the doors are now the full length of the car. Worth checking this chaos out.

Car of the week šŸ’°

This car shares some similarities with the BMW above; it’s German, it’s silver, it doesn’t have a roof and it has a kinda silly spoiler. That’s where the similarities end though. This is a 1 of 6 CLK DTM, it features carbon fibre bodywork and a tuned chassis, but can that justify the Ā£800k price tag? You can find the car here and read more about it here.

Small screen scene šŸ“ŗ

This channel has one of the best collections, there aren’t many that can jump into a Zonda R - ā€œThe Pagani Zonda Revolución is one of the most extreme track weapons ever built—an 800-horsepower, naturally aspirated V12 masterpiece with F1-inspired aerodynamics and a screaming redline. And what better place to unleash it than Circuit of the Americas?ā€

Hot off the press šŸ“°

Take my money. I love this ā€˜Type-Ami’ from Caselani, recently shown at the French classic car show Retromobile. It will set you back Ā£11,500 but it will certainly stand out.

Seen in the wild šŸ‘€

I spotted this Honda Integra Type R in Leamington. It was introduced in 1995 and is renowned for its high-revving 1.8L VTEC engine which produces 180bhp+. It also features a lightweight chassis, limited-slip differential, and reinforced body. Its rarity has made it a bit of a collector car. It’s possible that this exact car is currently for sale on Auto Trader for Ā£10,000. If it’s not the same car, it’s remarkably similar.
