A Porsche 356 for less than £3,000?
Have you ever seen a car trimmed in corduroy? That’s exactly what Chris Harris has done to his M5 estate. I for one am a fan.
Car(s) of the week 💰
This is possibly the only time you could buy both a Porsche 911 AND a Porsche 356 from a RM Sotheby’s auction for less than £2,500. Granted, they are incomplete, which is quite a flattering description of their state, but still. This was one of the craziest actions I’ve seen RM Sotheby’s run, accurately named the ‘Junkyard Auction’.

Remember I shared a video series about StanceWorks building a custom F40? I’ll concede, I was slightly skeptical, can you really build an F40 without an F40 chassis and engine? Maybe not, but they picked up the engine a couple of months back and I’m totally sold, I’m back in. This is going to be an interesting project!
Worth a visit 🚘
Summer is here and the Goodwood Breakfast Club is back. I will try my best to make the pilgrimage at some point this year.
Seen in the wild 👀
I spotted this 911 Dakar on someone’s drive while on a run, I stopped to have a quick chat with the owner who said it’s the perfect car for London because it can cruise over speedbumps and potholes - I’m jealous. The owner also had a Ferrari GTC4 Lusso and a 70’s Ferrari Berlinetta Boxer. What a driveway! I like the subtle styling on this one, without the rally decals, but having checked the classifieds I can confidently say that my preferences are entirely irrelevant because I can probably only afford the tyres.
