Social spotlight 📱

I find something about these GM Futurliners oddly alluring; the proportions are unusual but somehow work, the styling is decadently art deco and they’re so, so rare. At 33 feet long, 8 feet wide, more than 11 feet tall, and weighing more than 12 tons, they’re quite imposing too. This video is additionally satisfying given the perfect roof clearance to the garage.

That stance, those haunches, you can see why the values of the Lancia Delta continue to rise. I tend to look for bargains, or hidden gems, but in this case I’m more recognising the lost opportunity to purchase a Delta for a number beginning with a 2 or a 3, rather than a 4 or a 5. Will values continue to climb into 6 figures?

The SLATE truck is an interesting vehicle. Only available in the USA at the moment, it’s being referred to as the 'anti-cybertruck’. It has very little in the way of tech, it's cheap and tactile with a large range of aftermarket options to make it your own, amazingly it’s available for about $20k brand new. Someone pointed out to me that SLATE is an anagram of TESLA… have a play with their configurator here.

It’s back! The F40 build continues, as the build progresses the videos become increasingly and unapologetically geeky. Initially, I wasn’t into this - is it really an F40 if the chassis and the engine are totally different? No, but it still looks cool and this isn’t a random kit car, this is a genuine body with a newer Ferrari engine and race inspired tubular chassis. There’s a lot to like.

This was taken with an iphone 15 pro, not a maris piper potato, but unfortunately by the time I’d managed to get my phone out (as a passenger I may add) the car was way off into the distance. Still, I’m sure you can appreciate my excitement at seeing an Escort Cosworth race past. My wife was surprised at that excitement for what she described as an “old Ford”, as it changed down and spat flames. Rapidly approach 6-figure values too.
