The best and worst collection of Ferraris is coming up for auction

Social spotlight šŸ“±

This posted by an account called ā€˜Worst Spec’, which is possibly a bit unfair, but it’s certainly based on a true story. This collection of yellow Ferrari’s is coming up for sale at an auction in January - there are some pretty special models in the collection.

Car of the week šŸ’°

Find a car for around Ā£20k that stands out more than this. It looks like something out of whacky races, but it’s actually a Ford Model T (kind of), with a Chevy V8 plonked in/on the front. If you want to turn heads, this could well be the answer.

Hot off the press šŸ“°

ā€œA couple of years ago after the sad passing of its creator, John Dodd’s brilliantly bonkers ā€˜The Beast’ came up for auction. It fetched Ā£72,500 at the time, which actually seems like a bit of a bargain considering this is a running, driving, one-off powered by an actual Rolls-Royce Merlin V12. Yep, that’s the 27-litre monster from the Supermarine Spitfire and Avro Lancaster.

Now though, we have good news for all those who were unsuccessful in the bidding last time out, because The Beast is back!

It’s heading up for auction again through Historics Auctioneers, and it’ll cross the block at a sale at Mercedes-Benz World on 29 November. The estimate? Somewhere between Ā£75,000 and Ā£100,000.ā€

Small screen scene šŸ“ŗ

You could watch this with the sound off just for the aesthetics, but the car sounds pretty cool too.

Seen in the wild šŸ‘€

I can’t find much information on this car, but it was loudly making its presence known in Manchester. I suspect it’s a heavily tuned Ford F150 of some description. If it’s anything like this one on Autotrader, then it could be a 6-figure car with nearly 800bhp.
