A $500 million collection is going up for sale

You have to watch the video for full appreciation. How can a basic gesture be so obviously Italian? It’s fun on an MX-5 but would love to see this on a Testarossa.

Car of the week 💰

Can you think of a better car to put a smile on your face for less than £3,000? Ok, at that price point you might be pulling some frustrated and confused faces too, but they should at least represent depreciation-free motoring.

Small screen scene 📺

It’s that time of year when some of the bigger publications put out a hero ‘car of the year’ type film, and Autocar are no different. They take everything from Astons to Ariels to Cadwell Park to crown their ‘Best Drivers Car 2024’. What’s your money on?

Hot off the press 📰

Bernie Ecclestone has decided to sell his 69 car strong collection of Grand Prix and Formula One racing legends with Tom Hartley Jnr, many of which haven’t been seen by the public for decades, valued at around $500 million.

Seen in the wild 👀

I respected the effort put into the improvised canopy to keep their Ferrari clean, albeit largely ineffective. I’ve never been a fan of the 612, I’ve always found the front to be a bit awkward, why are the lights so small and so far apart? That seems to be reflected in their values, there aren’t many Ferraris where the price starts with a 5, especially ones equipped with a V12.
