Car of the week 💰

They’re here! From the makers of the Micro Scooter (yes, that brand from when you were a kid), let me introduce the Microlino. It’s an electric reinterpretation of the Isetta Bubble car. As cute as it is, it may struggle to command £20,000 other than from the truly committed.

Small screen scene 📺

You have to be a certain type of person to watch 25 minutes of a car getting cleaned - however the car in question is Nigel Mansell’s Ferrari F40 and the level of detail is forensic. This is the car you may have heard referenced in the Stanceworks F40 build series, they used it to reference correct panel alignment.

Worth a visit 🚘

The Ace Cafe often has events on, but less frequently events for Classic Cars. Coming up on Feb 11th they have a classic car night, including the Lotus 7, Midget and Sprite owners clubs. Don’t imagine it’ll be as raucous as some of their other nights.

Seen in the wild 👀

The car is unremarkable, but the number plate caught my eye. I couldn’t help but imagine the McDonald’s whistle, the perfect plate for Ronald McDonald. I thought I’d be commenting on how much the plate is worth, but I can’t work out what it actually is - it looks like L0VIN IT but no reg checker seems to recognise it. Help Ronald out!
