This video marks the completion of AutoAlex’s E46 M3 Touring build. This car would feature in my dream garage, I love the combination of performance, practicality and the screaming in-line 6. It’s likely to remain a dream though, based on how much it cost to create.

Worth a visit 🚘

Silverstone Festival is happening over the August Bank Holiday weekend and promises track battles, live music and car auctions from Iconic Auctions. I’ve never been before, but looks like a decent weekend and there’s certainly a find selection of vehicles for sale.

Seen in the wild 👀

I spotted this immaculate DB4 outside a pub in Hampstead, looked like the bloke had been enjoying the cricket and was set to head home. The car had attracted a small audience, a few hoping to take a video of the car starting up, but the DB4 had performance anxiety. It repeatedly failed to start, leaving the owner a little red in the face. The car was still there when I walked back past 10 minutes later, albeit with the engine running. The joys of classic car ownership, even at the very high end! A quick search suggests it would cost at least £350k to get into a car like this, but could comfortably be a lot more.
