If you own a Land Rover Defender, but find it too luxurious and plush, I present you with the Hummer H1. There are (at the time of writing this) 2 for sale on Auto Trader; one for £35k in military spec and one for £100k in 00’s hip hop spec - choose your poison. Even the high-end variant retains a…purposeful interior. It has 22” alloys, but a cassette player.

Do you remember this car? I remember seeing the MG XPower SV-R at a Max Power show at the NEC and it was touted to have ‘up to’ 1,000bhp which seemed unbelievable at the time…and with good reason because that never materialised. With fewer than 100 produced, they are incredibly rare, but on the off chance that you fancy it, this one is actually for sale.

Lexus have unveiled the successor to the LFA, it doesn’t have a name yet but is being referred to as the LFR. With the LFA’s V10 soundtrack being its party piece, the all electric LFR is receiving quite a bit of hate. I rate the looks though, and it races to 60 in just over 2 seconds. What do you think?

Seen in the wild 👀

This pristine Mustang was parked outside a local bar for a few days. Maybe the owner had had a few too many and sensibly got a cab home. From what I can work out, it’s a 6.4 litre 1st generation 1967 Ford Mustang Fastback. There are a handful for sale on Car & Classic, an example like this looks to set you back about £70k.
