David Brown, but not as you know it.

Did you say Ferrari 355 shooting brake? I guess this is what the FF would have looked like if it had come about in the 90s.

Car of the week 💰

I don’t fully understand what we’re looking at here. It’s a David Brown Automotive creation costing over £250k. Clearly, it looks a lot like an Aston Martin, who were famously owned by Sir David Brown. However, the David Brown involved in the below project is no relation. So, I believe it’s a pure co-incidence that this is a David Brown creation that looks a lot like an Aston Martin. Anyway…

The short story has already ended, David Brown Automotive Limited was founded in 2013 but as of November 2024, David Brown Automotive entered administration. The car reminds of a bit of a Bristol, slightly awkward looking.

The team at Top Dead Centre are fitting a £75 tractor turbocharger to their TVR V8. What could possibly go wrong!?

Hot off the press 📰

Caterham now has literal Horse power. Caterham have been hunting for a replacement for their Ford Duratec engine and have turned to Horse who are a joint venture between Renault and Geely who will focus on making small, simple combustion engines. Autocar find out how well it performs.

Seen in the wild 👀

I love these little vans. The whole thing appears to be a joke. It’s styled to look like a snail and is called the S-Cargo, as in…escargot, but also, it carries cargo. They are available for less than £3,000 which is actually tempting.
