Custom builds that couldn't be more different
I shared this car a few weeks back, but the build continues to get wilder, and I’m here for it. The latest addition was massive lorry mirrors, but they pale into insignificance relative to the other insane mods made to this 3-series. How can this be driven on the road!?
Car of the week 💰
Touted as the fastest road legal R32 in the UK, it’s hard to believe this Skyline car be driven on the road. The car has been full rebuilt, you have to check out the photos - I love the side exit exhaust, and the rear diffuser is imposing and the interior is, purposeful. Could you justify £115k on this?
Small screen scene 📺
Hard to ignore this. Top Gear have brought the McMurtry Speirling to their track in an effort to set a new track record, currently held by a Renault F1 car. Check out the video to see if the fan-assisted downforce allows the McMurtry to do just that.
Hot off the press 📰
If you were triggered by the launch of the new Defender (understandable), then you will want to sit down for this. Land Rover are planning a Defender Sport. The specs are mostly speculation at this point, but it’s suggested that it’ll be slightly smaller, lower and electric. A big departure from the original.
Seen in the wild 👀
I spotted this driveway in Preston, absolutely jam-packed with Alfas. They must have been around 20 90’s and 00’s Alfas strewn up and down the road. They seemed most fond of the GTV. I really like the GTV, especially the 3.0l or 3.2l Busso engined versions, but the price range for the GTV is, unsettlingly broad. Really hard to know which one is going to let you down.
