The ‘new’ Morgan Supersport is pretty striking, while remaining entirely familiar. Despite its…ancient looks, it will race to 60 in 3.9 seconds and continue to 166mph. You do pay a premium for the hand built midlands machine though, this one’s listed on Autotrader for over £135k 👀

Do you want to listen to 2 old men waffle on about ‘the good old days’ of cars, and moan about modern technology? Maybe not. What if those old men are Harry Metcalfe and Jeremy Clarkson? Hopefully at least 1 of those names is appealing. In this video, they try to establish when ‘peak car’ was. I enjoyed it.

Check out Subaru’s pointy new STI concept, they showed off the future of its performance arm at the Tokyo Motor Show. They had a few different models, but this one, bizarrely, features a fake wing on the back.

Seen in the wild 👀

I spotted this enormous Dodge Challenger SRT on French plates in a Sainsbury’s car park. I’m unfamiliar with these cars and being on French plates it’s not so easy to check the spec, but it seems likely that it has a large V8, although it could have a V6 (imagine the shame!). In any case, it will loudly and forcefully reach 60mph in around 5 seconds. The spec of these is so broad, they range from around £17k to £107k on Autotrader. It had 2 child seats in the back, those kids will have some amazing roadtrip memories!
