Alfas to Astons - Your weekly dose of automotive nourishment
This week's video is a must watch, truly mind bending performance.
Capturing car culture 📱
There’s something very satisfying about watching these faux restorations. Restoration Kamasutra documents his model car restorations across Instagram and YouTube, turning what looks like a lost cause back to their original glory, or better.

I’m not for a moment suggesting that these are a sensible purchase, in fact I can’t think of a cheaper car to buy that would be more expensive to own. However, I can’t think of many 6-figure cars available for less than £10k either. If (big if) you were lucky, this could be the bargain of the century. The example below may have sold by the point you read this, but at the time of writing it’s available for £9,950 and reads “No expense has been spared and the new owner should have years of trouble free motoring”. Worth a roll of the dice? 🎲

As if the Ariel Atom needed any more power! With 1000BHP and only weighing 650kg, this Atom has more than double the power-to-weight ratio of a Bugatti Chiron. At one point they plant their foot in 3rd gear and jump an entire lane, a truly terrifying machine.
Say what? đź“°
“Caught the racing bug?” they ask, Top Gear have compiled 10 fast(ish) cars available for under £5k. They’ve consciously avoided the typical MX-5, E36 and Clio 182, opting for some more unorthodox options. It got me searching for Alfa GTVs.

This bloke was simply popping to the shops in his Aston Martin DB5, can you imagine running your daily errands in that absolute beauty? If that does appeal, there is a very similar example currently for sale from Aston Martin Works, you will need a spare ÂŁ800k mind.
